Most of the list below is either required to make the service work or a preference you set yourself by clicking something. Those need no permission. The exception is Google Analytics, which is off until you accept it on the banner shown to every new visitor — no answer means no, and rejecting is one click, the same as accepting. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not sell the data, and Google Signals and ads personalisation are switched off on the property.

Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site referred you. It sets the two _ga cookies listed above and IP addresses are truncated before they are stored. Google acts as our processor for this and the data may be processed outside the UK and EEA under standard contractual clauses.
None of it is set unless you accept. If you accepted and want to undo that, use Cookie settings in the footer, or opt out globally with Google's browser add-on. Nothing about the site stops working either way.
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as accepting: the analytics cookies are deleted immediately and the tag stops loading. Your choice is stored in local storage under vt-cookie-consent, so clearing site data brings the banner back.
Your browser can block or clear all of these too. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in to the app. Clearing local storage also resets your theme and brings the announcement bar back.
