How the workspace actually works
The parts worth reading before you commit: how tokens are counted, what happens to your data, and where each tool's limits sit.
Getting started
- Create an account
- Signing up grants 3,000,000 tokens once. No card, no trial clock.
- Your first document
- Every tool writes into the same library. Start anywhere; it all lands in Documents.
- The command palette
- ctrl + K opens any tool, document or thread from anywhere in the app.
Tokens and billing
- How tokens are counted
- Input plus output, at roughly 0.75 words per token. Cost is shown before every confirm.
- Transcription minutes
- Audio bills in minutes against your plan's allowance, separately from tokens.
- Packs versus plans
- Plan tokens reset monthly and do not roll over. Pack tokens never expire.
- Spending caps
- Set a monthly ceiling per RSS feed, and a workspace-wide alert threshold.
Workspace
- Folders and permissions
- Seats can be scoped to folders — the mechanism agencies use for client separation.
- Version history
- Every document keeps every version, restorable, with no retention limit on paid plans.
- Export and deletion
- One click exports everything. Deletion removes content from live systems in 30 days.
Models and privacy
- Which models run what
- A per-task list, published here and updated whenever a model changes.
- Training on your data
- Never. Zero-retention endpoints are used wherever providers offer them.
- Bring your own key
- On Scale. Those calls bypass your token balance and bill to your provider account.
